Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites - Atlanta/Emory University Area By Ihg, Decatur

I couldn't have asked for a better stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see in Atlanta while also offering a cozy atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had fantastic beds, making our visit very comfortable. The service was top-notch with a friendly and organized staff that went out of their way to ensure our needs were met. The dining options were decent, although not exceptional, but overall, the value for money was excellent at this hotel.

I was staying on the first floor, closest to the breakfast area which made it convenient but there was some activity in the hallway. The hotel needs an uplift overall, as suggested during a phone call with the hotel ten days before my arrival. However, after entering the room, I found it to be comfortable and clean.

My stay at the hotel was great, with clean and comfortable rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making it a wonderful experience overall. However, there were some issues with the absence of staff at times. The location was perfect for my needs, but there was a stain near the kitchenette. Dining was surprisingly good, but there was one meal that was not up to par. The facilities were decent, offering everything I needed.
